Hidden in the deep layers of your conscience are the blueprints of your purpose. At 46 years of age in this world, I am walking in this realization and clarity.
A dear friend lent me her native american flute lovingly named "Redhorse" . I have never placed my lips on a flute but when I sit with Redhorse, I focus on my breathing.
Breathing. Something so simple we all know how to do it. Something so simple it almost seems like an insult to have to think about it.
I discovered a few years ago, I hold my breath. A lot.
I came back in 1968 born in Georgia. A rather traumatic childhood, I used all the gifts I came back with to survive though childhood and youth.
Holding your breath is something we all do. Most all of us operate from a space of auto pilot. Even science has proved how we function in this space about 90% of the time.
Our executive space of our brain makes decisions and handles problems of time management nature.
When we as humans go into fight or flight we send less oxygen to our brain. This is excellent if you are a warrior and need to run and use your body to protect you from immediate danger.
Daily stressors can be handled, we have the tools. We were told for so long to take a pill, a drink, a toke. We have all we need to process intense emotions. So many tools and as you learn these tools, teach others.
Empower and teach so our new world can be born... ....the next generations need us.
